On 2 October 2018, the Fudan Centre and NIAS in collaboration with the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX) in Aarhus facilitated a meeting between Aarhus University and DMJX and Fudan University’s School of Journalism.
The programme of the day started with a working lunch with presentations by representatives from both parties on their respective institutions, their organisational structures, and their work on internationalisation. Following the presentations, the participants sat down for in-depth discussions on cooperation opportunities.
Being in the forefront of internationalisation in higher education, Fudan University already has a number of international cooperation programmes. Aarhus University and DMJX likewise have a multitude of exchange agreements with universities around the world. The meeting opened the opportunity for discussions on future collaborative research projects and student exchange programmes, which we hope eventually will benefit both parties.
